Ceramic Solutions

Performance advantages of ceramic products
Advanced Ceramics are manufactured using highly purified natural raw materials and / or artificial raw materials synthesized through chemical processes and other non-naturally occurring compounds. Through a series of precisely controlled, complex processes such as forming, machining, firing and grinding, these compounded raw materials turn into high value-added products with excellent dimensional accuracy and functional characteristics.

Advanced Ceramic Products
Performance advantages of ceramic products
- Typically, ceramics outperform steel by at least 10X - 20X. Ceramics do not corrode, whereas steel parts do corrode. Our ceramics can withstand higher temperatures without compromising the strength. Alumina and Zirconia ceramics are superior electrical insulators
- Zirconia ceramics are superior electrical insulators. Ceramic has a low coefficient rate μ (0.2) requiring no lubrication as opposed to steel. Under high load, steel against steel is prone to galling
- Ceramic does not gall. For special applications, steel requires an additional processing step to improve the surface hardness / coating

Advanced Ceramic Products
The product results in ceramic materials shows excellent performance in either wet or dry cutting conditions. Our ceramic inserts have high thermal shock resistance, excellent wear resistance & fracture toughness because they are made to condense completely through special processes.
